Exploring the unfinished Dam at Elan Valley
We are always looking for ways to enhance our tours and give visitors something extra. Last month we took a group of ex pilots on the Grand Tour of the Elan Valley lead by Mike Moltby who booked the tour looking for something to do in Mid Wales for a half day tour!
Competition Winners take the plunge on Waterfalls tour!
Earlier in the year we ran a Facebook competition for a lucky couple to enjoy a free Welsh Overland Safari tour and a stay our partner accommodation Pwllgwilym Cottages. The competition was very successful and the lucky winners were Ester Chambers and her partner Richard.

The locations and details of all ancient hill forts in the UK and Ireland have been mapped in an online database for the first time.

Inside the Church of St Issui, Patricio
This remote and beautiful church, situated on the southern slopes of the Gader Range is part of our Eastern Beacons tour….
The church is named after St Issui, an early Celtic saint who is thought to have built a cell here. The site became a place of pilgrimage after he was murdered.
The Lovers of Sgwd Gwladus
Continuing with featuring tales of Myths and Legends in this Welsh year of legends, we recall the tail of the lovers of Sgwd Gwladus.....
The tale hales from Waterfall Country in the Brecon Beacons National Park, and more specifically the River Pyddin at Pontneddfechan. There falls a water called Sgwd Gwladus named so after Gwladus, a beautiful maid said to be one of the twenty-four daughters of Brychan of Brycheiniog, a 5th century King.
One Week, Two Groups of Canadians!

We took the Abhijit family from Calcutta, India on an interesting tour between Christmas and New Year.As a we have a flexible pick up service and the family were staying in Cardiff, we agreed to pick them up from Neath railway station, and it was the perfect starting point for the tour.
